Bedrooms

Plenty of color and still a calming atmosphere were requested and achieved in this bedroom. Good reading light fixtures next to the beds were a must. To highlight the art on the walls, art lighting was installed. Pillows from various countries were used for the bed, as well as new ones made to order.

This bedroom was designed complete with green materials. The client is highly allergic to chemicals. The bed is walnut, the bedside tables and dresser are made of rattan. The lampshades have been custom made to match the special shape of their bases. The pillows on the bed echo the colors in the painting, as does the rest of the room.

The custom headboard, handcrafted in Asia, and the bedside cabinet add Asian influence to this eclectic bedroom. The sage green walls make the room feel very restful and calming. The purple pillows and bed skirt, the dominant painting and the antique Persian rug, together with the green walls, form a split-complementary color scheme.

The strong Asian influence in this bedroom is evident in the reed headboard, the obi-wrapped pillows and the tansu chest with it's custom lamp.
